Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
XTC, Extincteur Champ Clicquot Blk, an aluminium sculpture, hand-signed, edition 23/30, dated 2026, 30 cm high with 8.5 cm depth and 8.5 cm width, produced in France, in excellent condition with a COA provided.
Description from the seller
Veuve Clicquot Champagne fire extinguisher black by XTC.
Fully painted with Montana spray paints and varnish.
Uniquely painted, no stickers for a uniform result and better longevity over time.
Numbered 1/30 and signed on the bottom, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.
The sent piece is not necessarily the one in the photo but it will be similar.
Careful packaging and tracked shipping.
Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC has shaped his artistic universe through an interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration has turned into a passion that was to be realized.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligning with the Pop Art movement through the détournement of contemporary consumer goods.
His creativity expresses itself through bold staging of icons of popular consumption (such as McDonald’s, Malabar, Chupa Chups), which he makes clash with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermès, Veuve Clicquot Champagne, and caviar) and Street Art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes mineral materials.
He draws inspiration, among others, from Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey, and advertising and addictions in general.
All defects or imperfections are an integral part of the work: it is an empty (gas-free) recycled fire extinguisher that may have cosmetic flaws visible through the paint. (It is obviously prohibited to sell a full extinguisher whose standard labels or safety pin are missing)
HAND-FINISHED « Sculpture created for commercial purposes, hand-retouched by the artist XTC using acrylic paints. »
