Olga Tsisar - The Exception

The Exception explores the tension between chaos and control.

Layers of black, deep navy and electric blue form an energetic network of spontaneous lines, splashes and gestures. At the centre of this visual movement appears a single precise red square — small in scale, yet immediately commanding attention.

Surrounded by irregular and uncontrolled marks, this geometric element becomes “the exception”: a point of individuality, resistance and stability within disorder.

Visible drips, overlapping lines, splashes and natural irregularities are intentionally preserved as part of the creative process. They give the surface its sense of movement and emphasize the physical, one-of-a-kind character of the work.
