Extincteur à Nutella, a 2026 aluminium sculpture by XTC, edition 29/30, 8.5 cm wide by 31 cm high by 8.5 cm deep, signed by the artist, in excellent condition, made in France.
Description from the seller
Extinguisher Nutella, when craving doesn’t wait! by XTC.
Completely painted with Montana spray paints and varnish.
Painted only, no stickers for a homogeneous finish and better durability over time.
Hand-finished aluminum sculpture by the artist XTC with acrylic paint and varnish, created on a commercially manufactured blank base (extinguisher). The edition number applies to the finish painted by the artist and not to the base object, the extinguisher.
Numbered and signed underneath, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.
(The copy sent is not necessarily the one in the photo)
Careful and traceable shipping.
Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC shaped his artistic universe through an interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration turned into a passion that was meant to materialize.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligning with the Pop Art movement, through the subversion of contemporary consumer goods.
His creativity expresses itself through the bold staging of icons of popular consumption (such as McDonald’s, Malabar, Chupa), making them clash with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermes, Veuve Clicquot champagne, or caviar) and street art, blurring even more the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes mineral materials.
He draws inspiration, among others, from Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey, and advertising and addictions in general.
Any defects or imperfections (upcycled extinguisher) are an integral part of the work.
Empty extinguisher. (Of course, it is forbidden to sell a full extinguisher whose standard labels and/or ring-pull would be missing)
