XTC — Mc Caviar Metallic Reef Blue 19cm, a hand-signed resin sculpture in blue metallic reef with 24K gold leaf, 19 cm high and about 1 kg, on a plexiglass base 15 by 10 cm, edition 8/8, made in France in 2026.
Description from the seller
Exceptional sculpture by XTC Artist: Grand cone of McCaviar Blue, metallized reef blue and 24K gold, with its mother-of-pearl spoon.
Original sculpture designed, molded, painted, adorned with gold leaf and hand-filled with caviar by the Artist XTC using resins, acrylic paints, and varnishes. Hand Made 100%.
It stands about 19 cm tall, weighs around 1 kg, on a 15 x 10 cm plexiglass base 15 mm thick.
Designed and crafted in molded resin, adorned with 24-karat gold leaf (everything gold is pure gold leaf, including the logo), painted in metallized reef blue, glossy varnish, and of course filled with caviar handmade by me, with a mother-of-pearl spoon.
This design will be produced in only 8 copies and 4 EA.
Probably XTC’s most emblematic work to date, in red and gold version.
A twist on a McDonald’s cone, a future luxurious dish in a fast-food version? Not impossible!
Signed and numbered /8 on the edge of the base, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.
The item shipped is not the one in the photo but will be similar.
Careful, tracked shipping.
Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC has shaped his artistic universe through his interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration has become a passion that had to be realized.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligned with the Pop Art movement, through the subversion of everyday contemporary consumer goods.
His creativity expresses itself through bold staging of icons of popular consumption (such as McDonald’s, Malabar, Chupa), pitting them against the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermes, Veuve Clicquot champagne, and Caviar) and Street Art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, mixing painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes minerals.
He draws inspiration, among others, from Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey, and advertising and addictions in general.
All potential defects or imperfections are an integral part of the work.
