Description
Original lithographic poster by Joan Miró (1893–1983), produced for the exhibition held at Sala Gaspar in Barcelona in September 1970.
Magnificent composition created with Miró's characteristic plastic language, combining abstract forms and intense colors in red, blue, yellow, green, and black.
Original period edition, printed in Barcelona by Publicaciones Reunidas S.A. It preserves in the lower margin the legal deposit B. 31.376-70 and the original printer's data.
Miró's signature is part of the lithographic composition; it is not hand-signed.
The poster is in very good condition, especially considering its more than 55 years of age. It shows only minimal signs of handling on the upper margins, hardly noticeable and shown in the photographs. No tears, holes, tape, stains, or restorations.
It is not a modern reproduction.
