Ache77 (born 1991) presents Il nominato – Colui che ha riconosciuto il suo nome, 2025, an Originale edition street art portrait in mixed media (collage, stencil) on 24 × 19 cm, 1 kg, signed by hand, sold with frame, produced in Italy.
Description from the seller
In this work Ache77 builds a monumental figure through a language made of fragmentation, stratification and matter. The face and the body emerge from a surface composed of assembled panels, metallic joints, traces of paint, stencils, texts and swatches that deliberately preserve the appearance of a support lived in and transformed over time.
The figure, rendered through gray tones and synthetic shapes, occupies almost entirely the space of the work. Despite the strong physical presence, the subject seems to surface only partially from the surface, as if its identity were the result of successive erasures and reconstructions. Parts of the face mingle with writings, numbers and chromatic residues, bringing portrait and urban landscape to coexist within the same image.
The golden zones introduce a precious and luminous element that contrasts with the roughness of the industrial surfaces, while screws, edges and overlays remain visible as an integral part of the composition. Ache77 thus does not hide the process of building the work, but transforms it into language: every element contributes to the sense of an image composed of traces belonging to different times.
The title, “The Named – He Who Has Recognized His Name,” suggests a reflection on self-recognition and identity. The figure seems to emerge from a chaotic set of signs to progressively acquire its own presence, as if recognizing the name coincided with the possibility of reconstructing a memory and, through it, one’s own individuality.
