Plateau de Service à Marqueterie Artisanale - Tray - Thuya

Superb rectangular serving tray in cedarwood (thuya), with contrasting wood marquetry.

Decoration & Marquetry:
- The base of the tray is adorned with a finely crafted geometric and floral inlay:
- A central geometric star motif, its heart enhanced by a delicate natural mother-of-pearl cabochon that catches the light.
- A refined network of scrolls and volutes in light wood (lemonwood or boxwood).
- A peripheral gallery inlaid with checkerboard motifs and contrasting dark wood fillings (ebony/palisander).

Practical features:
- Two ergonomic handles cut directly from the mass of the structure.
- Slightly raised edges ensuring a secure grip.
- The back of the tray highlights the raw beauty and the speckled grain of the burl.

Condition:
The wood has retained its original brilliance, its warm patina, and the precision of its inlay decoration. The photos are an integral part of the description.
