Eberhard & Co. La Chaux-de-Fonds – Antique Lepine pocket watch – Nickel Pur case
Dial: Original white enamel dial marked "EBERHARD & Co. CHAUX-DE-FONDS" and "SWISS MADE". Arabic numerals in early 1900s style, chemin de fer minute track, and a small seconds subdial at 6 o'clock.
Hands: Distinctive antiqued blued hands in the Breguet/Poire style.
Dial condition: Shows light and fine superficial cracks in the enamel consistent with age (visible at the top around 12/1 o'clock).
Case: Double-back case (double hinge) in pure nickel (bearing internal punch "NICKEL PUR"). Inner dust cover finely engraved with the inscription "EBERHARD & Co. CHAUX DE FONDS".
Operation and Condition:
Running condition: WORKING. The watch runs and keeps time. As a vintage timepiece that has been inactive for a long period, normal routine maintenance/lubrication is recommended for optimal and prolonged operation over time.
Winding and setting: Via the crown at the top.
