This work belongs to a series I have been developing for years, which takes as its conceptual pretext the Rorschach method to create suggestive images that take shape as I create them. In this case I took Nietzsche's Twilight of the Idols as a starting point. The image evokes a being that could be a god, a hero, an incubus, etc... erotism, drama, anticipation before a being that seems in difficulty and at the same time shows itself valiant, wild... I use loose and expressive strokes within an expressive language close to Expressionism and that can recall Goya's Black Paintings.
I studied Fine Arts at the National School of Art in Havana, Cuba. I have held exhibitions in Italy and Spain, where I currently reside. My works can be found in private collections in Spain, Italy, Mexico, Portugal, Greece, Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Sweden, Germany, France, Hong Kong, Ireland, Slovakia, Luxembourg, Lithuania, and the USA.
The work will be professionally shipped rolled by a transport company with a tracking number in three business days via DHL EXPRESS.
