This edition is also the only incunabula edition; after 1500 eleven further editions followed. In his Pentecost sermons the author discusses the “Twelve Wonders of Christian Faith,” in reference to the outpouring of the Holy Spirit during the so‑called “Pentecost miracle,” when the twelve apostles, together with Mary after Christ’s death, gathered and, according to the Acts of the Apostles, the Holy Spirit poured over them and sent them as apostles of the mission into the world.

Particularly interesting in this copy is the 15th‑century motto written in French on the back flyleaf: “Qui a filles, vignes et vieilles maisons Il a des affaires en toute saisons ...”, – …“Who has daughters, vineyards and old houses, he has business in every season ...” …signed by a “p. Notarij.”

Back and corners carefully restored with substantial preservation of the original substance. Good condition with signs of wear. Binding and book block solid and stable. Covers stained and somewhat rubbed. Spine renewed. The four cords removed. Inner hinges restored, flyleaves newly mounted.
Quarto: 22.5 x 16.5 x 4 cm.

Condition
Very good. Clean copy with only a few scattered, small stains and some contemporary marginalia. Flawless and without damage or losses.
