Title: Febbre d'ocra
Dimensions: 40x30 cm
Year: 2025
Dante Bellacorte was born in Palermo in 1987. His painting focuses on figurative portraiture, reinterpreted through a contemporary sensibility and a strong nod to classical tradition. In his paintings, female faces emerge from dark, silent backgrounds, illuminated by warm, theatrical light. The painting matter, the textures of the skin and the intensity of the gazes build images suspended between melancholy, grace and introspection. Through a refined and tactile oil technique, Bellacorte gives life to timeless figures, fragile and solemn, capable of transforming the portrait into an intimate and poetic story.
NB: The artwork will be shipped in a sturdy tube suitable for shipments. The colors of the painting may differ slightly from the photos due to screen settings. In person the artworks are more beautiful than in photography: one can appreciate the hypnotic beauty of the oil colors coming to life on the canvas.
