This oil portrait on canvas is aligned with neo-expressionism with a clear influence from analytical cubism in the geometric decomposition of the face, paying a vigorous tribute to the genius of surrealism, Salvador Dalí. The painter seeks to convey creative madness, psychological intensity, and the obsession with the temporal relativity of the Catalan artist, juxtaposing his iconic hyperbolic gaze and stylized mustache with an emblematic melting clock that seems to melt in space. Through a vivid chromatic palette dominated by bright reds, electric blues, and fragmented gestural brushstrokes, the composition captures the chaotic and revolutionary essence of Dalinian thought, transforming the traditional portrait into an explosion of psychic energy and avant-garde symbolism.
