Description from the seller
Francesca Morlacchi
Master of Art, Equine Artist and Emerging Contemporary Artist.
Francesca Morlacchi was born in the province of Bergamo in 1976, and from her very first steps she has been entranced by horses, living in contact with them those deep emotions that fill the soul and heart with joy. Sometimes words are not enough to describe these wonderful animals in all their natural, powerful and complex beauty. After a predominantly artistic school education, attending the Andrea Fantoni Art Institute and the Brera Academy, painting section, Francesca Morlacchi continues to draw, paint and portray especially horses.
She has received excellent critical reviews and feedback which continually confirm her merit, she has won prizes and honorable mentions and also built a solid exhibition record in several National Galleries and some international expositions.
She is listed among Contemporary Artists in the official catalogs of Modern and Contemporary Art by Mondadori and in the Italian Art Encyclopedia.
Selected by director Alberto Nacci for the project '100 Faces of Bergamo Artists': catalog and video interviews.
Patron member of the Paard Verzameld Equine Art Service Agency.
She has exhibited, moreover, during show jumping competitions, both national and international.
She collaborated with the Horse Angels association for a fundraising campaign, donating a work for a charity auction.
From May 1 to 4 she exhibited in Travagliato horses and painted, during the four days, a life-size horse, the work later donated to the organizers.
Curator Federico Caloi, current artistic coefficient 1.2.
'Il silenzio della neve'
Winter light caresses the horse's coat, transforming it into a contemplative figure, as if it were listening to silence itself.
It is an image of quiet and introspection, where time stops and everything becomes breath.
The work is sold with a frame and a dark-oak border of about 2.5 cm, accompanied by a hand-signed authenticity certificate and artistic coefficient.
