Corné Nuham's welded iron sculpture Witnesses, two independent vertical structures in a contemporary style, overall dimensions 74 × 24 × 20 cm and weighing 13.6 kg, signed, created in 2026 in Spain, one of a kind edition.
Description from the seller
WITNESSES
The work consists of two independent elements:
Element 1: 74 × 12 × 12 cm — 9.6 kg
Element 2: 55.5 × 10 × 10 cm — 4 kg
Overall dimensions: 74 × 24 × 20 cm
Total weight: 13.6 kg
WITNESSES consists of two independent vertical structures, different in height, proportion and construction. Placed side by side, they establish a relationship without touching.
Each structure is built through an arrangement of geometric volumes, shifts in section, openings and smaller elements that interrupt its verticality. As the viewer moves around the work, these forms appear and disappear, revealing different aspects of each structure.
Their proximity suggests a shared experience, although the work never reveals what that experience might be. They do not tell a story; they seem to hold its memory.
Built directly in welded iron, both elements retain visible welds, irregularities, polished areas and variations in the surface created during the making process.
The sculpture will be carefully packed for safe transport and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
