Jan Evert Morel (1835 - 1905) - Weids landschap met hooiwagen bij een hoeve

J.E. Morel was an Amsterdam-based painter who lived and worked in that city. His father, C.J. Morel, was probably his master. He mainly painted landscapes, which he often had mounted by Eugène Verboeckhoven, the well-known Flemish painter. He also spent a short period in Oosterbeek creating his landscapes there. The painting described has a canvas size of 42 x 54 cm, is in reasonable condition, and is fitted with a handsome Heydenrijck frame. The photos are part of the description.
