Beautiful authentic vintage (British handmade craftsmanship!) travel suitcase from the 1930s.
Made of ultra-strong, high-quality thick brown bridle leather.
(Vegetable-tanned cowhide).
The leather shows signs of use typical for a suitcase of about 90 years old.
Functional lever locks marked with the rare inscription "ENGLISH LEVER".
(Without a key).
Top left is the suitcase featuring a gorgeous original personalized blind stamp with the initials "W. J." (the original wealthy owner).
Interior lined with the original cream-colored silky lining
With the characteristic elastic pleated storage pockets (shirred pockets) from the Art Deco era.
Stitching is still in solid condition.

Vervaardigd uit oersterk, kwalitatieve dik bruin tuigleder.
(Plantaardig gelooid rundleder).
Het leer met gebruikssporen die horen bij een koffer van zo'n 90 jaar oud.
Werkende hefboomsloten gemarkeerd met de zeldzame inscriptie "ENGLISH LEVER".
(Zonder sleutel).
Linksboven is de koffer voorzien van een prachtig origineel gepersonaliseerde  blindstempel met de initialen "W. J." (de oorspronkelijke welgestelde eigenaar).
Binnenzijde is bekleed met de originele, crèmekleurige zijdeachtige voering
Met de kenmerkende elastische geplooide opbergvakken (shirred pockets) uit het art-deco tijdperk.
Stikwerk is nog in stevige staat.
