Magnificent porcelain decorative plate – Porcelain Manufactory Ludwigsburg

For sale is a magnificent, large porcelain decorative plate (pierced plate) from the traditional Porcelain Manufactory Ludwigsburg, produced in the latter half of the 20th century.

The plate impresses with its elaborately crafted, delicate pierced edge in a coral-branch design. Fine, hand-applied gold accents at the intersections give the piece an especially elegant and high-quality appearance.

On the back is a masterfully executed, colorful floral hand-painting in the classical style of the “German Flower.” At the center are a splendid rose and a pansy bloom, surrounded by other finely worked floral motifs.
