Casamicciola, an original oil on board painting by Vincenzo Canino (1892–1978), Italy, dating from the 1930s, 40 × 30 cm, signed, frame included.
Description from the seller
Delightful oil painting on panel signed and stamped in the bottom right, measures 40 x 50 cm, frame included. Vincenzo Canino was part of a group of painters, followers of the masters of the Posillipo School, who devoted themselves to outdoor painting. He was a friend of Attilio Pratella, with whom he shared the toil of the vedutista painter, and with whom he reveals certain affinities of style and pictorial language. His preferred subjects are Naples and the coast and the Neapolitan islands: a painter of truth, he dedicated himself to painting with passion, earning broad praise from critics. As evidenced by all the reviews, I provide careful packaging and shipping via a traceable courier. In any case, shipping is at the buyer's risk; I will not be responsible for any kind of damage that occurs during transport: the potential buyer who opts for shipping implicitly accepts the foregoing condition. The frame is kindly offered as a gift, and therefore no claims regarding it will be accepted.
