The snow on the sea is a very rare event. Between the end of 1996 and the beginning of 1997 the Tuscan Maremma was hit by a heavy snowfall, which reached down to the shore. This exceptional event prompted many Grossetani to go to the snowy beach to tread on the snow and photograph, and it was precisely the finding of some photos taken at the time that inspired me to paint this series of canvases.
This painting, 30x40x3.5 cm, is sold with a black wooden frame with flat slat, ready to hang and equipped with a certificate of guarantee.
I was born and raised in a family deeply immersed in art and I have developed a strong bond with painting since a young age.
I prefer oil painting, through which I explore evocative and suspended atmospheres: foggy landscapes, stormy skies, lands soaked by rain and my great love, the sea. The aim is to convey a deep emotion, a sense of inner peace, inviting the viewer into a space suspended between reality and imagination.
I live and work in Grosseto, in the Tuscan Maremma, a land rich in visual suggestions, which represents for me a constant reference and an inexhaustible source of inspiration for my paintings.
