Description from the seller

RONALD MOTTA 1975 :RAILWAYMAN

Ronald Motta studied plastic design at the Willem de Kooning Academy of Visual Arts in Rotterdam.
From 1990 Motto began to specialize in the production of bronze sculptures.
In his bronze sculptures and other autonomous works, Motta employs a humorous and absurdist visual language, imbuing his work with a surrealist charge. His approach is figurative. Themes in his work include history, science and technology.
In addition to bronze casting, he also works on creating decors, and in 2000 he won the Landscape Prize of South Holland. His work has been purchased by companies but also by the CBK in Rotterdam.
A typical Motta piece, which, as he himself says, often uses absurdism and humor as visual language.
The object is hand-signed on the bottom.
