Description from the seller

Old Meissen porcelain vase, Germany, adorned with a polychrome decor of dragons and stylized motifs in blue-grey and orange-red tones.

This piece features an elegant silhouette, enhanced by a silvered metal mount bearing the 800 hallmark, corresponding to silver fineness of 800/1000.

The combination of decorated porcelain and the silver mount gives this example a distinctive decorative identity.

Special feature and restoration:
The vase underwent an ancient intervention following damage at the neck. A hand-crafted reconstruction of this part was carried out, allowing the external shape and visual harmony to be restored.

The restoration is discreet from the outside, while traces of the intervention remain visible inside the neck.

A small chip is also present at the foot.

This restoration is now part of the object's material history and contributes to its unique character.

* Height: 33 cm
* Materials: porcelain and 800-silver mount

Condition: good, restored, with a flaw at the foot and traces of interior neck reconstruction.

Detailed photographs of the mount, hallmarks, and restoration are an integral part of the description.

Careful shipping with tracking and insured.”
