Description from the seller
Hand-carved and eroded wooden traditional and ceremonial Dayak offering bowl from Borneo, Indonesia. Beautiful patina and very high quality of the wood; the item is of fine quality, rarely such beauty seen...
Although this piece shows signs of use, it features a wonderfully rich incised decoration. The patina in combination with the elegant design makes it an ethnographic object of great significance.
