Description from the seller
- Oil on canvas. Original canvas. Hand-signed.
- Trained from the age of fourteen in Valencia classrooms by the effort of his father, the Cuenca-born painter Lorenzo Blanco (born in 1955 in Las Zomas), over more than half a century developed an astonishing and prolific career that surpasses five thousand works, marketed worldwide thanks to the rise of the export market of the time. Owner of a refined technique where meticulousness and virtuosity in detail are his unmistakable distinctive mark, Blanco stood out extraordinarily in the difficult genre of still lifes and bodegones, showing an incomparable grace and absolute mastery in composing lush floral arrangements. Such was the freshness, the color balance and the executive mastery he infused into his floral arrangements that his buyers and dealers literally “tried to grab out of his hands” everything that came off his easel, turning his workshop into a constant hive of commissions and making his ability to capture botanical delicacy the most coveted and famous facet of his endless production.
- Unframed image dimensions: 40 x 32 cm / 62 x 54 cm with exclusive custom frame.
