Panier à Fleurs, II, an oil on canvas by Lorenzo Blanco (born 1955) from Spain, dating to 1970–1980, 62 × 54 cm, hand-signed, sold with a frame.
Description from the seller
- Oil on canvas. Original canvas. Signed by hand.
- Formed from childhood in the classrooms of Valencia through his father's tireless effort, the Cuenca-born painter Lorenzo Blanco (born 1955 in Las Zomas) developed over more than half a century an astonishing and prolific career that exceeds five thousand works, marketed worldwide thanks to the rise of the export market of the era. Owner of a refined technique where the meticulousness and virtuosity of detail are his unmistakable hallmark, Blanco stood out remarkably in the difficult genre of still lifes and bodegones, demonstrating an incomparable grace and absolute mastery in composing exuberant floral arrangements. Such was the freshness, color balance and executive mastery he infused into his floral arrangements that buyers and dealers literally “wrestled” from his easel everything that came from his studio, turning his workshop into an incessant hive of commissions and making his ability to capture botanical delicacy the most coveted and famous facet of his endless production.
- Image dimensions without frame: 40 x 32 cm / 62 x 54 cm with exclusive custom frame.
