AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Original acrylic painting on linen canvas.
Sleep explores intimacy, vulnerability and protection. The resting body contrasts with the intense, watchful expression above it, creating an ambiguous scene that can be read as tenderness, guardianship or quiet unease.
The vivid yellow surface, deep brown forms and electric magenta details give the composition a strong graphic presence. Expressive lines and simplified shapes combine references to figurative painting, pop art and contemporary neo-expressionism.
A striking statement piece that brings colour, tension and emotional depth to a modern interior.
Acrylic on high-quality linen canvas.
Dimensions: 95 × 89 cm.
Signed and varnished.
Certificate of authenticity included.
The painting is sold unstretched and will be shipped safely rolled in a protective tube.
If the price reaches €200 -> the artwork will be shipped stretched on a wooden frame.
