Lalique crystal table cloche, sparrow model, colorless crystal with a satin finish, height 13.3 cm, diameter 9.5 cm, depth 9.5 cm, from France in the Art Deco period (ca. 1980–1990), signed Lalique at the upper base near the sparrow, in very good condition with a barely visible microchip on the lower edge.
Description from the seller
Lalique table cloche (model with the sparrow), in colorless crystal with a satin finish.
Elegant creation from the Lalique house, this table cloche combines the purity of clear crystal with the softness of a finely satin-finished sparrow, delicately perched at the summit.
The bird’s design, with wings spread and a restrained form, perfectly illustrates Lalique’s formal vocabulary, where stylized naturalism blends with a material work of great subtlety.
The flared body in transparent crystal reveals a central clapper, also in crystal, accentuating the visual lightness of the piece and the quality of its execution.
The piece is signed Lalique at the upper base, near the lower part of the sparrow.
It will appeal through its decorative presence, its refined craftsmanship, and the balance between transparency and a satin finish, emblematic of high-quality French crystal.
State: very good overall condition. Note a micro-schip on the lower edge, unseen to the naked eye in normal display and practically imperceptible.
Dimensions: height approx. 13.3 cm; diameter approx. 9.5 cm
