Story & Heritage
Omega is celebrated for precision instruments and legendary sports watches, yet some of its most fascinating creations are the refined dress models produced for a highly discerning clientele. Rectangular watches allowed the manufacture to explore the geometry and elegance of the Art Deco tradition, transforming the wristwatch into an object of architecture as much as a timekeeper.
This rare example elevates that concept through a substantial solid 18K gold case and an extraordinary factory dial decorated with diamonds. The discreet small-seconds display preserves the classical balance of the composition, while the manually wound Omega movement recalls an era when winding a watch each morning was an intimate daily ritual.
Presented with its original Omega buckle and vintage Omega box, this is far more than a gold watch: it is a rare expression of Omega’s dress-watch heritage, combining precious materials, mechanical craftsmanship and understated brilliance.
