ABOUT THE WORK
Nocturne Horizon explores the quiet, atmospheric moment when light begins to disappear and the landscape becomes something remembered rather than clearly seen.
Layered tones, subtle movement and a distant horizon create a sense of stillness and contemplation. The composition sits somewhere between landscape and abstraction, allowing the viewer to interpret the scene through their own memories and emotional associations.
Part of Luca Domiro's Maison Noire | The Memory & Emotion Collection, the work explores the moments we carry within us — memories that linger, emotions that shift and experiences that quietly shape who we become.
Maison Noire celebrates beauty, presence and the quiet confidence found in simplicity.
THE ARTIST
LUCA DOMIRO
United Kingdom | b. 1979
South African-born with Italian heritage, Luca Domiro is a contemporary artist whose work explores memory, renewal, movement and emotional connection through expressive abstraction and nature-inspired compositions.
His practice is guided by colour, texture and intuitive mark-making, creating layered compositions that invite reflection and personal interpretation.
Influenced by landscape, travel, memory and atmosphere, Domiro's work moves between abstraction and recognisable forms, capturing moments and emotions without defining a single narrative.
His work is held by collectors across the United Kingdom, Europe, United States and Canada.
