Octavo, cloth binding with titles printed on the spine, illustrated dust jacket. First edition of the novel, published in the Einaudi series in 1966.
Copy with autograph dedication by the Author, placed at the title page, of notable prominence and particular collectible interest.
Condition: solid volume, with intact binding and overall good condition. Pages with scattered foxing and uniform yellowing, more evident at the margins and in the preliminaries; normal signs of aging. No missing parts or structural defects to the body of the book detectable.
The original dust jacket shows signs of use and aging and a diagonal cut/tear of about 1.5 cm in the upper left part of the front panel; light additional handling marks at the edges.
Overall, a solid and complete copy, with original dust jacket and a significant autograph enrichment by the Author.
