Description from the seller
Tamburete - Low side table with a Slatted Top - Louis XVI-style Cannage
Elegant low wooden side table, with a woven slatted top (cannage) in a classic style. The frame features a warm finish with visible grain and four turned, slightly tapered legs, which give lightness and balance to the design.
The oval or round top (depending on the variant shown) incorporates a handcrafted slat surface, a hallmark of European traditional cabinetmaking, blending aesthetics and functionality. The piece stands out for its elegant simplicity, visual lightness, and decorative versatility.
Wood carefully treated with virgin waxes in very good condition; note some minor faults in the slatwork due to use and age.

Its style and carving make it a sought-after piece for collectors and interiors enthusiasts.
