An original watercolor painting by artist Kirsty Wain, capturing the spring scenery of Andalusia, Spain. Painted in 2022, this piece depicts almond trees in full pink bloom, framed against a backdrop of sun-drenched hills and distant mountains.
Wain uses expressive brushwork, warm golden and earth tones, and vibrant purples to evoke the bright light and landscape of Southern Spain.
Signature: Signed and dated in the bottom right corner ("Wain 22")
Condition: Excellent original condition

About the Artist
Kirsty Wain is a British painter currently living and working in Spain. Deeply connected to the Mediterranean landscape, her work offers an expressive, emotive interpretation of the surrounding environment. Drawing strong inspiration from Post-Impressionism and the bold colour theory of Fauvism, Wain uses vibrant hues, textured application, and fluid line work to capture the intrinsic energy, spirit, and light of a location. Her paintings, frequently focused on ancient olive groves, hillside pines, and sweeping terrains—seek to translate fleeting personal moments and deep emotional ties to place directly onto the canvas.
Wain’s distinct visual language continues to gain international visibility, and her paintings are held in private collections around the world.
