Taperstick (2) - .925 silver

Pair of two-light candelabras in solid Sterling silver 925, made in Mexico, probably in the mid-20th century.

Very beautiful modernist design, with an asymmetrical and sculptural line: elongated slightly wavy body, off-center foot, and two chalice-shaped candle cups.

Each candelabrum bears under its base the hallmarks “HECHO EN MEXICO” and “STERLING,” clearly visible in the photographs, attesting to Mexican manufacture in Sterling 925/1000 silver.

Overall good condition considering age. There are signs of use, small scratches, marks, and a significant natural patina on the silver.

The candelabra are deliberately presented unpolished and uncleaned in order to preserve their antique patina. They can naturally be polished by the future owner if they wish to restore the silver’s luster.
