Small 800 silver wine / liqueur cup by Adam Manns & Sohn, Dörnigheim, most likely dating from the 1930s.

The exterior is richly embossed all around with a distinctive heart motif. Natural dark patination has developed between the raised hearts, beautifully emphasizing the relief and giving the surface additional depth.

The rim and interior are gold gilt, creating a striking warm contrast with the silver exterior.

The base is hallmarked 800, AMD for Adam Manns & Sohn, and HANDARBEIT, indicating handmade workmanship.

A charming example of German silverwork – diminutive in size, yet full of character.
