Description from the seller
Original oil painting on canvas. Unique work. Canvas made entirely by hand. 60 x 60 cm. Signed by the artist. Certificate. (The interior visual is an AI visualization provided for guidance.)
In a museum gallery, a woman with her back to us faces a large painting in its gilded frame. She opens her trench coat in front of four gentlemen wearing bowler hats, and it is they, the painted figures, who look at her. The Yack flips the script: the painting becomes the spectator, and the visitor the artwork. A diagonal light crosses the scene like a cinema spotlight, and audacity is played out entirely in the silence of these gazes. A canvas full of humor and mischief about the desire to see and to be seen.
Delivery information: The canvas is shipped rolled without a frame, carefully protected, placed in a reinforced rigid tube. This shipping method guarantees optimal protection of the artwork during transport. The buyer will be able to have the canvas mounted on a frame by a local framer according to their display preferences.
