THE MAZE — 3D-printed ambient sculptural lamp by Brillab

Elevate your space with The Maze, Brillab's new creation that blends intricate geometric design with technological innovation. Inspired by the fascinating language of labyrinths and their seemingly endless paths, The Maze turns lighting into a true tactile work of art.

When off, the lamp presents itself as an ethereal, minimalist sculptural object. Its matte white finish catches the ambient light, highlighting the refined geometric reliefs and the continuous labyrinth motif.

Once switched on, the magic happens: light passes through the structure and reveals its different depths, creating a captivating play of soft shadows, warm transparent glows, and deep luminous gradients that transform the room’s atmosphere.

The black minimalist base creates an elegant contrast with the luminous white body, completing a clean, contemporary silhouette. Its geometric design integrates perfectly into modern interiors and creative offices, or it can become a distinctive decorative element on a coffee table, shelf, or nightstand.

CHARACTERISTICS AND TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

The Maze geometry: sculptural labyrinth design engineered to offer a dynamic diffusion of ambient light, rich in soft nuances and free of direct glare.

Material: High-quality matte PLA (polylactic acid), a bio-based polymer chosen for its refined ceramic-like appearance and for its excellent suitability to precision additive manufacturing.

Technology: high-precision FDM 3D printing (Fused Deposition Modeling).

Base: minimalist black base designed to visually frame the lamp and create an elegant contrast with the illuminated white body.

Power: USB cable with an integrated controller for managing the lighting, including on/off, brightness adjustment, and color temperature selection, from cool to natural to warm. Power adapter not included.

Each piece is produced and individually 3D-printed in-house in our workshop, with great attention to detail. 3D printing is a fascinating process: the presence of thin layer lines or small surface variations is not a defect, but part of the true “DNA” of the object. It is the hallmark of a manufacturing process that combines contemporary technology with artisanal care, giving each exemplar a unique texture and character.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Heat warning: PLA is sensitive to high temperatures. Avoid prolonged exposure to temperatures above about 50°C, direct sunlight through very sunny windows, inside vehicles parked in the sun, and near intense heat sources such as stoves or radiators.

Cleaning: to keep the lamp clean, simply use a soft cloth slightly dampened with water. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners, alcohol-based detergents, or solvents.

Usage: intended exclusively for decorative interior lighting. Handle with care to preserve the integrity of the intricate geometric structure.

The Maze is more than a light source: it is a visual journey with no single start or end, a geometric sculpture that reveals a different character every time the light changes.
