Jacquesson Cuvée n°749 "Grand vin" is an Extra Brut Champagne from France’s Champagne region, bottling three 0.75 L bottles disgorged in 2025, primarily from the 2021 harvest with reserve wines, aged on the lees in large oak casks and unfiltered, showing terroirs of the Marne Valley and Côte des Blancs with a lively, refined profile and notes of citrus, white-fleshed fruit, fresh flowers and a subtly saline, persistent finish.
Description from the seller
Jacquesson's Cuvée 749 perfectly illustrates the house's unique approach. Primarily made from the 2021 harvest, it is enriched with reserve wines that refine its balance. Its blend showcases several terroirs in the Marne Valley and the Côte des Blancs—notably Aÿ, Dizy, Hautvillers, and Champillon, complemented by Avize and Oiry. The three Champagne grape varieties are combined with precision, each contributing its own nuance to the whole. Made in large oak casks and aged for an extended period on its lees, without filtration or fining, this cuvée prioritizes a natural expression of the wine. On the palate, it reveals a profile that is both lively and refined. The aromas evoke citrus fruits, white-fleshed fruits, and fresh flowers, enhanced by subtle pastry notes. The finish is persistent, elegant, and slightly saline.
