BIOGRAPHY
I was born in Cádiz and currently live and work in Barcelona. I am a painter and my work focuses mainly on landscape, understood as a space of pictorial exploration where I investigate atmosphere, matter, and the perception of the surroundings. I graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona, where I later completed a master’s degree and earned a Cum Laude PhD, developing a training that combines artistic practice with theoretical research. My pictorial work develops mainly through oil painting, a medium with which I explore the construction of landscape from a contemporary perspective, focusing on the relationship between nature, memory, and visual experience. Throughout my career I have participated in solo and group exhibitions both nationally and internationally. My practice centers on landscape as a field of pictorial research, where painting becomes a way of thinking and experiencing territory through matter and color.
