Pino Procopio, (Guardavalle, June 16, 1954), is an Italian painter, sculptor and illustrator, a representative of figurativism. Artistic studies began in Catanzaro, but were completed in Rome. In 1982 he earned a degree in Architecture from Sapienza University of Rome.
In 1980, the Centro d'Arte “La Bitta” held his first solo exhibition. After two years in Verona, in 1985 he settled in Giulianova, in Abruzzo.
In 2001, the “Fondazione Italiana Stauròs Onlus” invited him to exhibit at the Staurós Museum of Sacred Contemporary Art in San Gabriele. The work “Father, into Your hands I commend my spirit” is today a permanent piece in the museum's collection.
The following year, in 2002, he created the painting for the poster of the “World Book and Copyright Day,” sponsored by UNESCO.
The Italian State Lotto commissions him in 2003 to create the painting to be placed on the European Lottery ticket, and in 2004 he was commissioned to produce the painting to be placed on the Lotto Italia ticket.
