Between Us XXL is a large-scale abstract painting exploring the space between emotion, gesture and colour.
The composition develops through overlapping layers of soft pink, pale green, yellow and blue, interrupted by deeper red and dark expressive marks. Loose lines, traces of movement and spontaneous brushstrokes create a visual rhythm that shifts between openness and density.
Rather than describing a specific emotion, the painting leaves room for personal interpretation. The title Between Us refers to the invisible space that exists between people — a place of connection, tension, distance and intimacy.

Raw gestures and drawn lines contrast with quieter areas of colour, giving the work a sense of spontaneity while maintaining balance within the composition. Visible traces of the painting process become an important part of the work, preserving its immediacy and physical character.
The generous 150 × 100 cm format allows the painting to create a strong presence without overwhelming the surrounding space. Its combination of expressive marks and a light contemporary palette makes it particularly suited to modern, minimalist and eclectic interiors.

Joachim Demiurg is a visual artist and painter whose work focuses on color, structure, and dynamic form.

He graduated from an art high school with a specialization in artistic textiles, which shaped his sensitivity to texture and material. He then studied graphic design at the Faculty of Art at the Pedagogical University in Kraków.

He has also gained experience abroad, creating painting projects and murals in places such as Morocco, San Francisco, and Berlin. His work combines elements of figuration and abstraction, using simplified forms and intense color palettes.
