Catherine Lupis Thomas, Artistes are Free to Create, a 2014 art photography print (edition 1/1) in excellent condition, 120 × 80 cm, signed on the plate, sold directly by the artist and mounted with Diasec on a plexiglass panel.
Description from the seller
This photo was taken in the Ardennes. A manor house that was slated to be demolished to make way for a nursing home. I entered it by breaking in; it was gray, but I still took photos. When suddenly the sun rushed into the staircase, creating a magical atmosphere.
I create on my photos. I add collage elements to create another reality. The bathtub was right there in the middle of the entrance. And I imagined this woman reading a Kant text. Her voice carried upstairs by the wind, the words cut from the bathtub... A tale, a poetic image, a moment that does not exist, but could have existed.
The original collage was sold to a collector in Austria. I decided to produce an enlarged edition in Diasec (a process of counter-collage and photographic preservation that binds the front print chemically directly onto a plexiglass panel).
It is mounted on an aluminum frame, allowing easy and durable hanging.
This piece will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and, of course, an invoice.
It happens to be in perfect condition.
