Description from the seller
HMC – Rare Vintage Chronograph « TV Screen / Octagonal » – All Steel – Valjoux 7765 – Circa 1970
Rare mechanical vintage chronograph for men from the brand HMC (Horlogerie du Marché Commun), dating from around 1970 and presented in a very beautiful condition.
This model stands out notably for its geometric case with lines combining a « TV Screen » shape and an octagonal design with beveled facets. It is made of stainless steel, as indicated on the case back by the inscription « All Stainless Steel ».
The watch is equipped with the Swiss caliber Valjoux 7765, a manually wound mechanical movement. Its dial layout is particularly characteristic, with the chronograph minute counter at 12 o’clock, the small seconds at 9 o’clock and the date aperture at 3 o’clock.
