Description from the seller
Keith Haring after (1958-1990), Untitled (DJ) 1983, copyright Keith Haring Foundation, licensed by Artestar NY, Printed in U.K. Printed in the UK 47/49
Printed in the UK on luxurious 300gsm Monte Carlo fine art watercolour paper—crafted by St Cuthbert's Mill, a paper mill with over 300 years of history—this poster is preserved in very good condition, unframed.
The barking dog, or laughing dog, is one of Keith Haring's most popular images. The dog in 'Untitled (DJ)' is situated behind a turn table and holds a record in one hand. Haring was greatly inspired by the music of his generation, with hip hop emerging in New York around the same time that the artist's work was gaining fame.
