Esplendor floral, an oil-on-canvas still life by Viktor Kallinik Gousseff (1893–1980) dated 1937, produced in Spain in the 1930s, 32 cm by 38 cm, signed by the artist, original edition, sold with a frame that has some faults.

The work is signed by the artist at the top and dated 1937.
The piece is presented framed (the frame has some flaws).
The painting is in acceptable condition.

BIOGRAPHY OF THE ARTIST
Victor Kallinik Gousseff began his training at the Rostov Art School, after which he entered the Higher School of Fine Arts in Moscow. Later he left Russia to settle in Paris, where he broadened his knowledge in various art schools. A few years later he left France attracted by the masters of the Spanish School, settling initially in Madrid. In the capital he attended classes at the San Fernando Academy, where his teacher was Moreno Carbonero. Later he undertook a journey through Spain, settling for a time in Barcelona. Gousseff mainly worked still life and landscape, and exhibited in Barcelona galleries such as the Circulo Ecuestre of Barcelona (1927), the Dalmau Hall (1927), the Busquets Hall (1934), the Layetanas Galleries (1936), the Domingo (1941), etc.
