Painted ceramic wall plaque signed on the back by the author. Bruno Baratti, sculptor, ceramist, and painter, born in Cattolica on 31/12/1911, died in Pesaro on 15/05/2008.
A ceramist already known in the 1930s, active during World War II, he participated in numerous ceramic exhibitions and competitions and shows. A highly successful artist, he produced numerous sacred works, the famous bas-relief Via Crucis and two holy water fonts destined for the church of the hospital “Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza” in San Giovanni Rotondo, a place linked to the figure of Padre Pio. His works are on display in numerous museums and bank institutions of the Marche region, as well as in public and private collections, in excellent condition with no damage or missing parts, diameter 23 cm. Depth 3.5 cm. with a scene of an ancient Etruscan riportato. Signed on the back Baratti. I ship with excellent trackable packaging using suitable material to ensure it arrives intact.
