Moeris pocket watch, with a white dial embellished by black Roman numerals, red inner hour numbers from 13 to 24 and small seconds at 6 o’clock. The case measures about 43.4 mm in diameter, excluding the crown.
The inner cover features a medallic decoration and the inscriptions “Ancre – Moeris”, “Grand Prix – Berne 1914”, “Membre du Jury – Milan 1906” and “Hors Concours”, references to the maison's recognitions that add historical interest to the piece.
Completes the lot a chain included in the sale, which alternates chunky link segments and elongated rectangular elements, with a clasp and a wide closing ring.
The watch is winding; precision and autonomy have not been verified. The dial shows fine cracks; patina, scratches and signs of oxidation on the metal parts are also visible. The material of the case and the chain has not been ascertained.
