Description from the seller

This panel painted in acrylic depicts three Anonymous figures on a background of spray paint.
The work is sold with a beautiful black frame included as a gift, frame size 74 x 74.

Since its debut, Wxyz has focused on the art of signature, calligraphy, and graffiti.
When his son was born in 2017, he became interested again in the world of toys.
Inspired by children's construction games, he began creating characters made up of painted wooden cubes.
This object depicted on this wooden panel, nicknamed "L'object A" or "Anonyme", is a character from a research conducted with his 3-year-old son using a series of cubes.
After directing many characters, he chose this one for its elementary composition, and directed a related series.
This object reminds him of many things: the Eiffel Tower, a robot, a rocket, a masked character, technology (the pixel), the ancient figurines of André Hellé, the game "Bauspiel: ein Schiff" by Alma Siedhoff-Buscher, Torres García's "Juguetes".

Wxyz voluntarily created a simple character, a synthetic figure of games from his childhood, halfway between wooden elements and figurines.

Wxyz was born in Paris in 1980, grew up and still works today in East Paris.
He owes his artistic awakening to the observation, from a young age, of wall inscriptions. Since 1996 he has painted many walls, mainly in the Paris area.
For 10 years, and after studying marquetry at the Boulle School (École supérieure d’arts appliqués de Paris), he began making wooden toys.
Wxyz has participated in numerous group exhibitions and has held 2 solo exhibitions in Paris in 2015 and 2020.
