This is a finely crafted silk painting from the Qing or Ming Dynasty, mounted in its original European frame, which is over 100 years old. A custom plaque by the original owner is attached below. The artwork depicts five children at play, with joyful expressions and naturally flowing garments, capturing lively movement and charm. Above them are ornamental rocks and plum trees, rendered with exquisite detail. The artist’s signature appears in the upper right corner. Comparable works can be seen in the National Palace Museum, Taipei.
The painting shows some fine cracks due to age, but is otherwise complete and well-preserved. Originating from the French antique market, the piece is photographed in sections due to the protective glass, allowing potential buyers to appreciate its intricate details.
