AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Title: "Bretagne 1"
Medium: Oil on canvas
Size: 50 x 90 cm
Year: 2020
Original work by Leni Winkelmann
Oil on canvas mounted on stretcher
Welcome to my studio. My painting is devoted to the landscape as a place of longing – for me, it is less about realistic depiction, but rather about the atmosphere, the stillness, and the magic of the moment.
In my oil paintings I seek the boundary between truth and feeling, between appearance and being. Each work is a handmade original that aims to capture light moods and calm in a hectic world.
The attached images are photographs I personally took in my studio to optimally capture the texture of the work
