Grace is an oil painting by Natalie Didukh (United Kingdom), created in 2026 in the Neo-Impressionism style, depicting a white horse, with dimensions 50 cm by 40 cm, signed, original edition, and in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
The painting depicts a white horse rearing against a warm, monochromatic ochre background. The animal is captured at the moment of rising onto its hind legs, with its front legs lifted and its long dark mane flowing behind its neck. The composition gives particular emphasis to the horse’s elegant posture, muscular structure and expressive movement.
Didukh works with a restrained palette in which the pale body of the horse contrasts strongly with the warm golden-brown ground. Darker passages define the mane, hooves and contours of the figure, while lighter, more delicate brushwork describes the horse’s face, neck and body. The visible brushwork remains an important part of the image, giving the surface a painterly quality and allowing individual marks to contribute to the sense of movement.
The simplified background removes the horse from a specific landscape or narrative setting, placing the emphasis entirely on the animal and its physical presence. The upward movement of the figure, combined with the flowing mane and elongated silhouette, gives the composition a strong sense of rhythm and dynamism.
