Chess set - Taracea árabe de Granada - Wood

Wooden taracea chess set (typical style of the geometric design of the Arabs established in Granada, Spain). This folding board also serves to store the pieces in the 4 side drawers (see photographs); it measures when extended 45 cm long, 30 cm wide and 4 cm high. It is very practical since, as the pieces are captured, they are stored in the mentioned side boxes. The pieces are also made of white and maroon wood (virtually unused) and the king measures 6.2 cm in height. Also included are wooden pieces to play checkers. It is a very beautiful set due to its beautiful taracea design from Granada.
